Pseudo Hiepes. (Bernardo Polo)
(act. 1650-1675)
Still life with honeycomb, base with flowers and partridges.
17th century
Oil on canvas
54 x 86 cm.
Due to the bad conservation conditions of the artwork, a relining was necessary. The painting had no stretcher and presented tears and considerable paint layer consolidation problems. The painting was cleaned and mounted on a custom-made stretcher. The losses of paint layer were coated and re-integrated.
